Job Description
Bally Sports North/Bally Sports Wisconsin is seeking a Digital Content Manager! This position is responsible for programming the creative content of the Bally Sports North and Bally Sports Wisconsin digital and social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube) on a day-to-day basis and overseeing content for the BallySports.com website.

Responsibilities:
• Continually creates compelling content with a focus on video and social – this involves establishing a budgeted itinerary of video and graphic content on a day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month basis and prioritizing and evaluating the relative importance of sporting events and how they should be programmed digitally
• Works with Bally Sports North/Wisconsin's production, marketing, communications, sales and OAP team to help promote network, programming and fulfill sales partnerships
• Works with team partners - broadcast / communication / marketing / digital teams to manage and share content while strengthening team relationships
• Manage a team of assistants to cover live games on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram during Bally Sports North/Wisconsin's game telecasts with a goal of getting more people to watch and promoting our teams
• Works with new technologies to ensure content is available as quickly as possible
• Working with freelancers to schedule their coverage of live games for social
• Works with counterparts at other Bally Sports RSN digital staffs to share content and best practices
• Coordinate the use of graphic toolkits to design content for a wide array of platforms.
• Develops creative ways to inform fans of Bally Sports North's/Wisconsin's programming
• Manages hands-on production of high-profile events and breaking news
• Works with marketing and communication staff to implement ideas, as well as create new concepts and designs to ensure the site as compelling as possible
• Analyzes and reports on website and social statistical performance to drive continuous improvement
• Coordinate with programming to ensure digital only streams reach our viewing audience
• Administrative and management support, including status reporting, monthly dashboards, contract management and budget management
• Leads the charge in terms of digital content creation; idea generation and execution; churns out salient, sharable video and editorial features; works with team partners to ensure access and presence where we need it
• Work with production to make sure we are cross pollinating our efforts as well as possible, co-producing features, and promoting our network
• Work with ad sales to give them the tools and metrics to close and monitor sales; work with other corporate functions (marketing, promos) to make sure the network is as digitally focused and forward thinking as possible
• Manage all social media aspects of the network

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and commensurate experience required
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in content creation, digital or other, is necessary
• Website programming and social media experience is required
• Basic knowledge of Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Snap Chat are necessary
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Focus on video production combined with superior video editing and graphic design skills
• Superior oral and written communication skills are required
• Superior organizational and project management skills are required
• A solid understanding of HTML (and Asana), demonstrated copy editing skills, sound news judgment, and a proven ability to create effective news packages on deadline is required
• A demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects in fast paced environment is essential
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and longer work days via scheduling freelancers, marketing coordinator and working nights and/or weekends based around sporting events
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Explorer are necessary
• The ability to work effectively, both individually and as part of a team, is needed
• Proven supervisory and leadership skills are necessary
