Overview

The Kansas City TWIN Traffic Operation is looking for a dynamic and talented professional to work as a traffic reporter and editor for Traffic Team. Reporting Duties include delivering Traffic reports for on-air broadcast during designated program segments on Audacy's Kansas City's cluster of Radio stations. Editor Duties include gather, write and select traffic stories used in radio traffic reports over air, on line, and on social media platforms.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Voicing Traffic reports on Audacy stations to air on broadcast and digital platforms, in and out of the Kansas City Market.
• Gathering, writing, recording, editing and delivering traffic reports as outlined by Audacy
• Providing live reads of traffic and other sponsors within and outside designated reports by the company including logging commercials and discrepancies
• Voicing of Promotion, Demo/Spec Spots and other content for sales and station purposes.
• Making station appearances as required
• Social postings for sales, company directives, and programming initiatives. Talent would still be responsible for personal and show postings.
• Create weekly custom station emails covering programming promotions & sales fulfillment.
• Web site postings.
• Other duties as required by management

Qualifications

About You:

Required:
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's
• Own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
• Minimum 2 year traffic or news reporting for broadcast media
• Must be computer literate, have excellent writing and presentation skills
• Strong Social Media skills and presence

Preferred:
• Knowledge of the broadcast area geography and transportation systems is essential
• 4 year degree preferred
