Audacy's Backend Services team is looking for an innovative, passionate, and results-driven Senior Technical Product Owner to join our rapidly growing digital engineering team. As the Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for collecting and documenting requirements for our services and applications, as well as setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by Audacy Digital software development teams in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product. You will be working with multiple stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and other groups.

• Take control of the Backend Services teams from the planning perspective
• Plan and prioritize the feature backlog and work with the team on development plans for the product
• Build and manage functional and non-functional requirements, and provide vision and direction to the Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Work closely with our product team to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
• Manage teams backlogs
• Work with the product team on building product road-maps and identifying innovation opportunities
• Leverage data-driven analysis to work with product management on defining product strategy to optimize revenue and improve user experience
• Lead the planning of releases and set the expectation for the delivery of new functionality
• Be available and active in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release and Sprint goals
• Research and analyze the market, users, and competitive landscape.
• Be a champion of Agile/Scrum best practices and keep abreast of new trends.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of product owner experience in the digital arena with a focus on Media and modern technology concepts
• Understanding of RESTful API patterns
• Understanding of Event-driven architecture
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A 'user-first' mentality
• Ability to manage multiple scrum teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinker with vision and sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of Kafka
• Understanding of API Gateways
Additional Information
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $140,000-$155,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity. This position can be located remotely (within one of our markets) or at one of Audacy's
offices in Denver, New York City, Philadelphia, or Chicago.
