Senior Accountant - Controller Team

Job Description

Audacy, Inc. is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Financial Operations Team.

Duties include:
• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual reports to be filed with the SEC
• Assist in quarter-end and year-end audit work with external audit team
• Perform and review account reconciliations
• Provide support in the development and streamlining of a standard close process
• Escalate issues with supporting explanations
• Identify process improvement opportunities and technology enablers

• MS Office (especially Excel)
• Wide Orbit – Accounts Receivable
• Metaviewer – Accounts Payable
• Microsoft Dynamics SL – General Ledger
• Tagetik – Financial Reporting & Budgeting
• Workovia - Finance Reporting Tool

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Understanding and knowledge of US GAAP
• Understanding of public company reporting including 10-Q, 10-K and MD&A preparation
• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience interfacing with internal/external customers
• Experience in process improvement activities
• Experience in the financial reporting close process
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite applications, with high degree of proficiency in Excel
• Excellent technical accounting skills and ability to successfully address relevant US GAAP guidance (e.g., debt modification, business combinations, intangible assets)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills
