Overview

Audacy, a multi-platform audio and content and entertainment company is looking for a Manager, Network Services to join their Corporate IT Team.

This opportunity is available in Philly, NYC, Denver, Chicago. Remote is a possibility for an ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Design, develop, and direct the implementation of network solutions to meet the operational and strategic needs of Audacy
• Develop policies, practices, guidelines, and procedures consistent with professional standards, legal / regulatory requirements, and institutional goals
• Work closely with internal customers, IT staff, vendors, cloud providers and consults to coordinate plans for developing projects
• Maintain a roadmap for network services consistent with hardware lifecycle management and informed by future projects that enables effective capital and operational budget forecasts
• Leverage carrier network economies of scale and relationship with telecom expense management provider to effectively leverage robust service provider networks in alignment with providing a highly available network at a balanced price point
• Ensure all network related hardware and software is operating properly and is on supported versions/releases
• Ensure all backups for network devices are recoverable and tested
• Plan for and implement network patching and upgrades for network operating systems and firmware
• Manage, monitor and forecast network capacity
• Generate and present reports regarding network metrics and communicate necessary goals and objectives to company stakeholders
• Management of third party vendors to ensure successful resolution of issues
• Track projects to develop a forecast view of future network utilization and requirements
• Monitor, Identifiy and determine risks regarding security issues and informs management of mitigation options
• Utilize systems management tools to analyze and tune performance of the network infrastructure software, hardware, and circuits to meet business needs
• Assist team members in day-to-day operations as well as mentor other members of the IT team
• Adhere to change management procedures to mitigate the disruption of services to the business
• Provide resolution of technically sophisticated network related issues
• Participate in external forums and independently pursue knowledge of new network management trends

Qualifications

More About You:

Required:
• Demonstrated experience in network switching and routing in large enterprise networks, including spanning tree, segmentation, OSPF, route redistribution, multicast, QoS, and overlay networking
• BS in Information Sciences, a related discipline or equivalent job experience required
• 5-7 years of network engineering, management and design experience in large enterprise environment required
• ITIL Foundations or Practitioner certification preferred
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent networking certification
• Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of business priorities and accomplish key business objectives
• Load balancer configuration including certificate management
• Capacity Planning and Network Management
• Proven experience in managing a large scale WAN
• In depth background of VoIP, VPNs, CASB, firewalls, PKI and associated protocols
• Knowledge in operating systems and network security
• A solid knowledge of wireless networks and associated encryption methods
• Solid written and communication skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience in successfully leading technical projects (Project Management)
• Vendor management experience
• Demonstrated experience teaching and mentoring peers and project teams
• Leadership skills to create team cohesiveness, motivate, and foster a positive environment
• Use of and interpretation of protocol analyzer preferred
• Automation programming and scripting experience preferred
• Cloud Provider Certifications are preferred
