Overview

Audacy seeks to hire an analyst for its Research & Insights team to support its national sales team from inception of opportunities through delivery. The candidate must be a self-starter with fundamental knowledge of study design, research methodologies and the media landscape. Having experience in media sales and/or media-related consulting is a plus.

Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to perform in the following areas:
• Assist sales executives in identifying new business opportunities through research by articulating research questions and identifying the right research resources to solve for business challenges
• Recommend research approaches to address business questions and challenges
• Harness insights from syndicated audio research resources (e.g., Nielsen, GFK/MRI), including programming-related sources
• Design custom research studies and data cuts
• Tell data-driven stories to guide clients with customer acquisition
• Recommend media performance measurement approaches
• Interpret insights from custom studies to show audio effectiveness
• Consult clients on next steps on audio marketing
• Put data-driven stories into presentation format and be comfortable speaking in front of internal/external clients
• Consult sales teams and strategists on opportunities
• Show interest in media and related fields
• Write short articles based on research and insights

Qualifications

What we are looking for:
• 1-2 years of quantitative research experience
• Solid knowledge of excel, SPSS or other software that enables data analysis
• Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to convey business ideas succinctly and effectively through writing and presentations
• Strong work ethic
• Flexible location
