Overview

Audacy, one of the nation's most influential audio content and entertainment platforms, is hiring a Director, Consumer Marketing, Media to oversee the media planning in support of content and programming initiatives to Audacy's 200 million listeners. Reporting to our SVP of Consumer Marketing, the Director will lead media planning, placement, measurement and growth opportunities across the business.

Responsibilities

The Role
• Media planning/execution of plans utilizing Audacy's internal assets/promotional inventory to support:
• Brand initiatives
• Business line marketing initiatives
• Prioritized launches
• Track media delivery of all Audacy owned campaigns; Monitor media value and performance against KPIs
• Help optimize, streamline continually enhance processes for internal media deployment
• Partner with business lines on identifying and prioritizing plans that will utilize Audacy inventory
• Guide internal stakeholders to map out priorities; Enforce efficient and effective planning; Align with broadcast, digital, activation and traffic teams
• Design and conduct test campaigns with analytics team; Build Audacy muscle memory/expertise
• Manage outside media agency for quality control of off-platform media planning and buying
• Serve as an expert on seamless and integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring creative is well aligned to strategy and consulting on best practices by platform

Qualifications

The Requirements
• 5-8 years Media planning and execution experience (brand or agency)
• Expertise across all media forms and measurement (including Mobile, Search, Social, TV, Audio) and how to synthesize into cohesive plans
• Understanding of media strategy, development, and storytelling of holistic media solutions and planning
• Experience managing external agencies, and navigating internal partners and business lines
• Persuasive storyteller and presentation abilities. Comfortable developing, delivering and defending strategic presentations
