Job Description

The Corporate Communications & Public Relations Department is a hub for Audacy's internal and external communications and positions Audacy's portfolio of over 235 radio stations, digital platforms and live events with national, local and trade media, influencers, and stakeholders. The department oversees business and industry communications, financial communications, local public relations, programming, talent and event publicity, crisis communications, and executive visibility.

The Communications Associate plays an integral role in assisting the Corporate Communication & Public Relations Department. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-motivated, creative and detail oriented. This opportunity reports to the Senior Director of Internal Communications.

The opportunity is available remote in our current environment. (The ability to commute full-time, part-time or sometimes to our offices in Philadelphia, Wilkes-Barre or New York is preferred.)

• Establish collaborative partnerships with internal teams to help manage and promote communications
• Maintain and create information on all communications platforms like: Hoopla; Audacy's Intranet, Slack, Email external press sites and others
• Communicate key priorities and deadlines to the communications team (external / internal) and keep team informed of milestones to hit deadlines
• Writing and Editing
• Draft creative messaging for various internal messaging platforms using established brand and voice parameters
• Create templates and execute creative vision for email, intranet and other visual delivery platforms
• Department coordination and organization
• Organize shared digital records of communications efforts
• Help project manage large communications efforts
• Coordinate events, logistics for meetings and events
• Report results on communications efforts (internal / external) using metrics, news clipping and other sources
• Ad hoc team support including arranging travel, expense management and meeting scheduling

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Media and Communications, Public Relations or related field
• 1-2 years of experience
• Corporate Communications preferred

• Exceptional writing and editing abilities
• Superior organizational skills and great attention to detail
• Simple image and visual editing capabilities
• Understanding of promotion and engagement
• Adoption and mastery of web-based platform applications required (No HTML necessary)
• Strong ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of social media and related communications tools
• Ability to manage and retain highly confidential information is critical for this position
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced team environment
