Brand Manager (Audacy Dallas)
Overview
Audacy Dallas/Fort Worth is seeking a talented, passionate professional to lead our heritage NewsRadio 1080 KRLD brand, recently awarded the national Edward R Murrow award for Breaking News Coverage, in addition to the largest state radio network in America, Texas State Networks.
You will guide the largest Over The Air and Digital newsroom in Texas, growing our reach on multiple platforms. As Brand Manager, you will protect the brand in being responsible for adherence and compliance with FCC regulations and Audacy programming standards.
Responsibilities
• The preferred applicant will have superior verbal and written communication skills and proven success in brand imaging and production. You must be highly competent in business affairs, including the ability to negotiate contracts and establish strong affiliate relationships
• You must possess a high engagement and collaborative attitude in working with Sales leadership on ideation around solution oriented marketing campaigns, including custom content to leverage revenue, while protecting product integrity.
• You must lead and uphold KRLD and TSN's 'Breaking News Now' expectation for both local and national information, where you and the team shine. You must maintain and grow information relationships throughout North Texas and the state. Digital content knowledge and the ability to lead strategy in partnership with the Audacy Digital Content News team is a must. This includes experience in developing timely and topical production of time-shifted content from original OTA programming, as well as additional podcasts, a focus on growing reach and leading a robust social media effort.
• Special consideration will be given to candidates who have a proven track record of success brand-building in broadcast Radio/TV, Cable TV, Media or Digital platforms.
Qualifications
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience managing a large market team of high-caliber talent to optimal Nielsen PPM performance and strong digital acumen in driving our digital footprint reach. You must possess a fearless pioneering attitude in leading innovation aligned with Audacy's transformative strategy.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
