Board Operator
Overview
Audacy Detroit : WXYT-FM 97.1 is seeking a part-time Board Operator. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
Job responsibilities:
- Run a broadcast board with digital editing
- Scheduling guests
- Record and produce segments
- Research broadcast topics and information
- Protect the station's FCC license
- Other duties as required by management
- Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs
- Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of two years of radio experience preferred. Must be computer literate; have multi-tasking skills, and have the ability to prioritize.
Knowledge of how to produce a radio broadcast and knowledge of how to run a commercial board is essential
Must have a valid driver's license and transportation
