What We Are Looking For
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team, concentrating on tactical HR. Head of HR happy to serve as mentor.
Overview and Responsibilities
• Provide ongoing and proactive coaching to employees and managers
• Answer HR related inquiries and assist with interpretation of policies and procedures
• Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all employee and organizational matters
• Serve as the point of contact for employee relations and investigations, escalating to Head of HR when necessary
• Recruit for administrative level, ensuring that there is a focus on diversity
• Maintain relationships with colleges and universities, and participate in recruiting events, along with other members of the HR Team
• Serve as backup for new hire orientation, and ensure that all e-onboarding is completed
• Answer benefits related inquiries, handle new hire enrollment, and liaise with brokers and benefit providers
• Administer leave of absence for parental and other leaves
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
• 5+ years HR experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Entertainment/Agency experience preferred
