Job Description
The Amazon Studios Technology Services team is looking for a passionate and solution-oriented Business Analyst to improve processes that improve service delivery to our customers, influence innovation, and deliver actionable improvements. At Amazon Studios, you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data environments.
The ideal candidate has outstanding business acumen, a restlessness to answer ''why?'' questions, excellent analytical abilities, strong technical skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a cross-functional technical, financial and operational teams. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. They will work closely with Product, Business, and Software Development Teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• 3+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience in SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
• Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will help shape the engagement with our productions, Amazon Studios employees and partner corporate teams.
• • Develop a thorough understanding of production and Studios technology selection and deployment behavior and operational metrics to inform decision making and process improvements.
• • Analyze metrics and build models that predict production behavior, using statistical rigor to simplify and provide thought leadership to global product and software groups
• • Collaborate with Production Technology, TechOps and Support, Data Engineering and Infrastructure Administration teams.
