Job Description
The Amazon Studios Technology Strategy & PMO team is seeking a program manager/business analyst to help implement the long-term strategy for Amazon Studios Technology. S/he will plan, own, and facilitate status reporting, risk and issue tracking, business analysis, process definition across the various technology teams. Additionally, s/he will advance the implementation of the Studio Technology strategy as well as support the incubation of initiatives and programs.
Objectives
• Facilitates and guides Studios Technology teams on agile methodology, including use of collaboration tools
• Provides program management on Studios Technology projects
• Dives deep to understand business needs of stakeholders and identifies opportunities to enhance or resolve them through feedback loop with the customer and the Studio Technology team
• Challenges the status quo, asks appropriate questions to determine root cause of issues, and negotiates solutions, timelines, and mitigation plans
• Collaborates with stakeholder teams to define deliverables, roadmaps, and accompanying documentation for projects and initiatives
• Drives prioritization of projects and initiatives based on customer demand and impact
• Manages program/project activities across the Studio Technology team, including change management and communications
• Develops and reports on projects, metrics, and KPIs
• Anticipates bottlenecks, manages risks, issues and escalations; creates mitigation plans; and balances business needs
• Assists in building out PMO organization
• Collaborates with stakeholders and customers and drafts cross-functional communications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• System design experience
• 3+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience with roadmap strategy and definition
• 2+ years of technical program management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior experience in the film/entertainment industry with experience working in a high-stress environment
• PMP and/or Scrum Certification
