Job summary

We are currently seeking an Localization Coordinator to the foundational elements and passion for localization management to help support the Global Localization team with the launch of Originals content. The localization coordinator will track series production and delivery progress related to the translation/adaptation, casting, recording, and versioning of assigned series content.

They will partner with multiple Localization Managers to support the creation of localized subtitles, dubs, and metadata for series and movies. The Localization Coordinator will update and maintain various tracking grids and status reports to keep, Localization Managers and Executives up-to-date as content is finalized, track overall localization progress, flag outstanding materials or potential delays, aggregate data for a subset of assigned tasks such as avails/metadata, and help amass assets for final delivery to Amazon Prime Video (PV). They will work closely with the Localization Managers in conjunction with the Localization Billing Coordinator to keep billing in sync with the production and localization timelines across assigned series. They may also be called onto issue and revise purchase orders, ensure all invoices are tracked, processed, and approved, and update corresponding logs in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate should be willing and able to handle a heavily administrative day-to-day, but with a willing focus and bias to expand their localization management skills and grow into a future Localization Manager role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 2+ years of experience in a global studio or post-production environment geared toward work on episodic Television (experience with Features is also a plus)
* 2+ years of experience with a variety of centralized Subtitling and Dubbing localization workflows across multiple regions and languages
* Fluent in entertainment, post-production, and localization terminology
* Ability to report data accurately and identify errors or off-pattern entries in spreadsheets
* Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet aggressive deadlines
* Self-motivated to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Familiarity with a variety of digital media workflows and styles of content localization
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Detail oriented with excellent and proactive organizational skills
* Experience with proprietary systems and technologies
* Working knowledge with spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel
* Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, and tracking of spends
* Familiarity with foreign languages (Spanish, German, Japanese, etc.) is a plus, but not essential to succeed in this role
* Familiarity with metadata organization and submission
* Familiarity with component-based localization and mastering workflows such as IMF or MMC
