Job summary
Calling all unicorns: let's re-invent storytelling together. Our unicorn? You find the human in every story and have an impeccable eye for impactful video content, but at your core, you produce content at scale, on time, and at a high standard. You're equal parts creative / program manager and as a result, you have a hands-on approach to video production, both when in-house and through agency. Your creative side allows you to connect with a community to distill the few meaningful narratives that will bring your audience's story to life. Yet, as a process-centric machine, you're able to quickly identify project outputs and workback plans to systematically deliver a reliable series of premium and every day content assets.

You are the Event Content Manager for several tent pole events throughout the year. These events are a mix of in-person and virtual experience and these events are an opportunity for our communities to connect with peers, get inspired by the latest program updates and to immerse in Amazon's innovative supply chain technology. You are responsible for all visual storytelling components of the presentations, mainly inspiring- as well as informational video content, like mini-documentaries, trailer, leadership messages or animation. You are the stage director for live keynote presentations and providing guidance to all talent on best practices for stage performance. Additional you're responsible for video recording all content at the event to be shared on internal and external channels.

A day in the life
You will gather inputs from internal stakeholder to produce event content from start to finish. This includes script-writing, creative briefs, advising senior leadership on content presentations, creating a ROS and work-back plan to execute with agencies all content in time for the event, oversee content budget and work with internal stakeholder on content approvals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Visual Journalism, Marketing, Film Production, Communications, or combination of commensurate experience
• 5+ years experience with event content production and stage directing
• 7+ years of experience working in brand storytelling digital journalism, or non-fiction film production
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• experience communicating effectively to global stakeholders at a senior level.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• A strong portfolio of professional content, with individual contributions clearly attributed per project
• Superior organizational skills, especially with large volumes of digital visual content such as video, photographs and graphic assets
• High technical filmmaking capabilities, including basic experience on set across all aspects of production
• Experience in content operations, with ability to drive multiple projects in various mediums and of different sizes across the finish line in parallel, all while on tight deadline(s)
• Passionate about and capable of embedding diverse perspectives in your storytelling
• Experience collaborating with visual content development teams and multiple stakeholders all working toward a common goal
• Experience project managing agency creative teams and productions small and large-scale
• Video editing or shooting skills is not a requirement but is a plus
