Accessibility Manager - Localization Operations

The Accessibility Manager for Localization Operations will closely collaborate with Global Localization leadership, in partnership with overarching Post Operation Initiatives. They will functionally own the accessibility workflows on Amazon Originals content, ensuring that all customers with accessibility needs get best-in-industry quality access to content. Additionally, this role will examine Accessibility workflows with an eye towards consistency, expediency, and efficiency.

Key job responsibilities
The role will partner with Prime Video, Post Management, regional offices in territory, as well as third party vendors and trade groups to identify best workflow practices and procedures for audio description, SDH, and other emerging accessibility formats. A special focus of that research will be building relationships with the Accessibility community and making sure that their voices and perspectives are represented in additional languages outside of the original version. Along with defining and distributing these new workflows, the role will also lead root cause analysis and track trends across accessibility outputs to identify and resolve workflow-related defects in systems, people, processes, or vendors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 4+ years of experience with writing, recording, casting, and mixing of Audio Description for A level titles, both for English and non-English content.
* 4+ years of experience with closed captions and SDH file creation for both movies and series, both for English and non-English content.
* Direct experience utilizing 3P post vendors and technical/workflow mechanisms from the beginning (greenlight) to end (distribution) of episodic or feature content life cycles globally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Direct experience with a variety of digital media workflows and asset management
* Documented examples managing multiple projects simultaneously, with follow through to meet aggressive deadlines
* Detail oriented with excellent and proactive organizational skills
* Advanced written and oral communication skills
* Self-motivated to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
* Fluent in entertainment, post-production, and localization terminology
* Competency of wide array of media asset types and digital transport mechanisms
* Familiarity with foreign languages (Spanish, German, Japanese, etc.)
* Experience with both technical and content metadata organization and submission
* Understanding of security standards, requirements and protocols for high-profile pre-release content
* Familiarity with component-based localization and mastering workflows such as IMF or MMC
