The Global Podcast Marketing team at Amazon Music is looking for a driven and dynamic Sr Marketing Manager, Podcasts to own our B2B2C podcast marketing strategy and execution of podcast initiatives, working with 3rd party creators on marketing partnerships and audio, paid digital and owned campaigns to drive awareness and listening of podcasts on Amazon Music. A successful candidate will have a passion for building strong mutually beneficial partnerships with creators while also executing on audio/podcast marketing and digital marketing. The candidate will have strong creative instincts and lean into collaboration with cross-functional partners and creators to take our global podcast strategy to the next level. Finally, the candidate will partner with product and tech teams on solutions to scale our B2B2C efforts to all podcast creators. This is a new role and area of investment for our team and the candidate will need to Think Big and deliver a vision, strategy and roadmap to deliver results and delight our customers.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as the strategy lead for Amazon Music's B2B2C podcast marketing efforts globally
• Drive impactful mutually beneficial partnerships with podcast creators to drive listenership on Amazon Music
• Design midfunnel marketing programs to drive listeners to Amazon Music podcasts via audio ads on 3rd party podcasts and other digital channels
• Own campaign development, measurement and optimization to scale programs
• Own marketing budget development and management
• Build and own reporting of campaign results, insights and recommendations to leadership
• Influence tech and product roadmaps in order to deliver tech solutions that enable scalability of B2B2C marketing
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working in the podcast industry or a related digital streaming industry, including a knowledge of current podcaster trends
• Experience working across global teams
