Job summary
This role can be located in any of our offices in {San Francisco, CA} {Seattle, WA} {New York City, NY} {Culver City, CA} or {Atlanta, GA}.
In this role as a Principal Product Marketing Manager you will be responsible for driving acquisition, engagement and retention for Amazon Music across owned & operated platforms. You will achieve this by experimenting with new customer experiences, optimizing customer journeys and enhancing our marketing tech solutions. You'll work closely with a number of key stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Growth, Design and Business Insight teams to drive holistic marketing plans to delight our customers.
Key job responsibilities
• Own end-to-end product marketing for Amazon Music on retail experiences such as Amazon.com, mobile apps, Whole Foods and more.
• Build a 1 to 1 relationship with the customer, powered by personalization, to drive customer growth (acquisition, adoption, reactivation, retention).
• Provide business requirements to support Product Management and Engineering teams to build foundational systems and scale reach to our customers.
• Lead global strategy for Amazon Music marketing on shopping experiences, improve process and workflow to automate and scale channels.
• Work closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Podcast Marketing, Product Managers, Design and Content teams to create cohesive cross-channel programs increasing customer growth, engagement and retention.
• Build customer segmentation and targeting to deliver messaging that is personalized, complementary, and reinforced across our channels, communicating the right features and content to our customers.
• Design systems and processes to A/B testing across channels, including creative imagery, messaging, offers, and CTAs.
• Proactively drive a measurement and learning framework for Amazon Music across channels. Work with BI and Metrics teams to establish segments, analyze experiment results, and drive insights from data.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing with consumer facing brands, including integrated campaign management, customer acquisition, content marketing, marketing communications, product marketing and/or channel marketing.
• 3+ years using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements including A/B testing and experimentation roadmaps.
• 3+ years of partner marketing and/or business development experience.
• BA/BS degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years of mobile experience for consumer technology product or service.
• Global experience driving marketing programs across multiple markets.
• Experience with consumer products, media and/or e-commerce.
• Experience with subscription-based consumer products.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to work with SQL would be a benefit.
• Natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.
• Excellent project management skills, managing internal and external stakeholders, and multiple campaigns at once.
• MBA/advanced degree.
