Job summary
The music streaming business is experiencing high growth globally, and especially in Japan. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of a music revolution, grow the listener community and subscriber count and invent new ways to engage Japanese customers. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, and will partner with global teams around the world.

Key job responsibilities
• Execute global and local campaigns across product, content, promotional campaigns and lifecycle.
• Develop new ideas and execute on high impact marketing programs across channels.
• Track best practices, monitor industry trends, and become a digital Bar Raiser
• Constantly influence and deliver improved processes
• Learn and understand internal digital tools, marketing guidelines and requirements
• Understand brand guidelines & style guides, and apply them on a range of initiatives including localization of global campaigns

A day in the life
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist, who will execute global and local campaigns across digital channels including email, app-marketing, digital merchandising. You will partner with digital marketing managers, music content and feature owners to understand their goals and drive effective consumer communications as part of the marketing plan.
A successful candidate will be able to manage project timelines and deliverables, communicate effectively. You need to be curious and willing to learn new tools, and bring new ideas to the team. You will be motivated by taking ownership of multiple projects, inclined toward action, and always thinking about the next best step, … and you will be a positive team player.

About the team
Amazon Music is focused on building a personalized, curated, and seamless music experience. We want to help our customers enjoy their favorite artists, discover new ones, enjoy podcasts, experience livestreaming performances, find their favorite playlists, watch music videos, and more… We build systems that are distributed on a large scale, spanning our music apps, web player, and Alexa devices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of successful experience in digital marketing, on/offline advertising, or business development, preferably in the e-Commerce, Internet, retail or software/tech industries
• High attention to detail, good communicator, agile
• Experience or interest in Copy writing (basic copy writing) in Japanese
• Native Japanese language skill and Business level English
• Basic knowledge of HTML and SQL or willingness to learn
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with digital business, subscription business, consumer products, media and/or e-commerce
• Basic knowledge and experience with web authoring and marketing automation tools
• Intuition for customer communication voice; adept at marketing copy writing
• Passion for music and technology and the confluence of the two
