If all of that excites you, Amazon Music Creative Studio is looking for an Art Director to work across Design, Marketing, Sales, and Artist Relations teams to build and execute cross-channel design systems for top-tier industry initiatives, earning trust and insisting on the highest standards along the way.

Key job responsibilities
• Maintaining the highest design standards, clear communication hierarchy and accessibility standards across deliverables while balancing against Amazon Music and Livestreaming style guides.
• Delivering across web, digital, print, and marketing campaigns to delight our customers through compelling visuals and storytelling.
• Developing toolkits, templates and libraries for best practices and scale.
• Building presentations and engaging with Creative Leads and Stakeholders to understand creative briefs and to drive campaigns to their highest quality, most brand defining, best performing, and most efficient place.
• Inviting & seeking out diverse perspectives to produce the absolute best experience for our customers.
• Partnering with leaders across Music tiers to seamlessly integrate ground-breaking creative for our customers.

This role may be based in Los Angeles, Atlanta, or Brooklyn with a possibility of being virtual within the United States.

A day in the life
In this role, you will partner with best in class Design Program Managers, Industry Marketing teams, and Creative Leads to build thoughtful, culturally-relevant, on-trend creative for an enormous audience. You will work with localization teams, agencies, and internal creatives to execute 360 degree campaigns within and beyond the Amazon ecosystem (spanning web, social media, out of home, print, environmental, and well beyond).

About the team
The Amazon Music Industry team is a new and growing pod within Creative Studios. We build exciting artist-focused campaigns that invite customers into a new world of FREE LIVE concerts and entertainment. We move fast, have fun, build relationships, and always look ahead. We are dreaming up wild initiatives and experiences, pinching ourselves daily. It is truly Day 1.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• BA/BS in Visual Arts, Marketing, Communication or other related discipline preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience with visual and/or production design
• Online portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of self-executed design assets spanning web, social, and out of home channels
• Strong time management and organizational skills, attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• An eagerness to collaborate across disciplines with team members at all levels
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign and presentation software (Keynote and Powerpoint)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience designing for social channels
• Deck building and presentation skills
• Experience with motion design
• Passion for applying strategic design thinking to the business and seeing results
• A passion for music & entertainment!
