Job Description
Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Ad Operations Manager that has a passion for digital advertising, data driven platforms and the gaming industry to help us scale a player-first advertising business. You will work collaboratively with an array of top sales, account management and product professionals to execute exceptional ad experiences that make a meaningful contribution to our games. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the indirect advertising operational processes for waterfall setup/delivery, new product testing/deployment and ad quality.

Apply for this role if you are a hungry and talented AdOps lead or manager that has fluency with the technologies that make up the mobile media ecosystem, specifically around publisher side capabilities, demand-side platforms (DSPs), data management platforms (DMPs), and tagging technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of ad operations professionals on the set up of A/B monetization testing across the portfolio of external systems (GAM,Unity,Facebook) and internal tools, while maintaining a high quality standard to ensure 100% accuracy
• Support the Partnership team with new partner integrations and maintaining blocklists.
• Lead the monthly creation and implementation of blocklists across all games.
• Represent AdOps in strategy meetings with Game teams relating to demand operations by offering insights on technical setups along with bandwidth.
• Work cross functionally with Product and Partnership teams on vetting new ad tech vendors that support efficiencies and monetization.
• Partner with AdOps Leads in London and New York on new processes and balancing specialists workload.
• Ensuring good relationships with Global Account Management, Legal, Game and Product teams including contributing to the development of AdOps SLA and issue resolution/escalation processes with those teams.
• Support departmental planning and budgeting including headcount, supporting technologies and training opportunities.
• Ensure the AdOps team maintains strong capacity planning capabilities and provides the Leadership Team with up-to-date regular capacity analysis.
• Liaise with teams responsible for Pricing & Yield Management, Business Intelligence/Sales Operations to ensure open flow of information and data to better understand performance, optimize campaigns, manage resources accordingly to achieve yield targets.
• Frequently review tools used by the AdOps team to maximize performance and make recommendations for change with supporting business plans and budgets.
• Bring 'can do' attitude to the team, provide support, outline career progression paths, create structure within the team that builds motivation and encourages ideation.
• Keep on top of industry trends in online advertising and AdOps.
• Involvement in industry trade bodies at high level.

Skills to create Thrills:
• A minimum of 5 years' experience and at least 3+ years building and managing an AdOps or Programmatic team in a publisher environment.
• A proven and respected industry AdOps or Programmatic lead with a strong digital pedigree.
• Expert with leading ad servers especially GAM, local and global advertising eco-system and will have industry knowledge of order management tools, data management platforms, programmatic systems, analytics and brand safety tools, video technologies, mobile specialisms (e.g. Apps), native providers.
• Experience of overseeing traffickers and managing technically-led AdOps teams in order to maximise efficiencies and reduce response times.
• Proven ability to grow teams, manage capacity and future planning.
• Knowledge of digital advertising regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and business impacts
• Knowledge of app development roll-out procedures and project management concepts.
• Knowledge of, and willing to give opinion on the advertising market - Digital TV, Display, App, emerging technologies such as VR.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex and technical issues to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of audience and data based sales
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and a motivator.
• The ideal candidate will be service oriented and willing to go the extra mile to ensure stakeholders and partners are successful in ad monetization experiences
• Excellent industry contact list.
• Education: Bachelor degree preferred.
