Job Description

Activision Publishing is looking for an experienced Tableau Developer that can raise our visualization ship and help provide exceptional insights to our stakeholders through their use of our tableau dashboards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Update & maintain existing Tableau workbooks.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and define metrics.
• Build new custom dashboards
• Maintain/build queries, LODs and dashboard logic both in Tableau and Databricks.
• Maintain/build custom data extracts
• Performance tuning of dashboards

Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
• Strong SQL (currently use Postgre SQL via Databricks) comfortable querying large datasets.
• Deep understanding of visualization best practices
• Tableau desktop and server (version 2020+)
• Experience with Tableau Server admin functions including security and security groups
• Experience working with stakeholders to gather business requirements and turn them into outstanding dashboards

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
• 3+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop /Server 2020 or greater
• In-depth knowledge of data visualization best practices
• Tableau Desktop certification

• 1+ years of Databricks experience
• Experience with Apache Airflow
• Tableau public profile that can be presented as an example of your skill set.
• Experience with Tableau Prep
• Experience with Python / R / Scala.
