Your Mission

The Mobile Analytics Team is adding a talented BI Engineer. As part of the team, your mission is to maintain, improve, and expand our business facing data infrastructure. Year one responsibilities include:
• Maintain and improve product analytics ETL infrastructure
• Own business ETL process and be the point-of-contact for investigating and communicating issues with internal stakeholders
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders and partners in defining and documenting single source of truth to ensure data consistency
• Work with data platform team to ingest 3rd party data related to the operation of our games
• Own part of the telemetry process and work with game development team to ensure timely and accurate instrumentation
• Support analysts and data scientists on the team with data expertise
• Own and improve data/ETL documentation process

Player Profile

We are looking for a blend of technical skills and project management ability; a passion for exceptional execution within a dynamic environment, and the flexibility and focus to achieve result
• MS/BS degree with technical focus (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field)
• 3+ years total experience as a BI Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a similar role
• Strong technical skills with SQL and Python; demonstrated programming skills either in data science or software development settings
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and best practices
• Experience with distributed analytic processing technologies (Spark, Presto, Hive)
• Experience with Airflow or other frameworks like Luigi
• Working knowledge of Tableau server and APIs a plus
• Working knowledge of Firebase and APIs a plus
• Good product sense, with experience in a mobile app development environment a plus
