Your Mission

As the Motion Graphics Artist for User Acquisition, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and use your knowledge of both Call of Duty and the Mobile space as a whole to ideate and create top-tier animation and visual effects using 2D and 3D assets, developing highly versatile motion graphics toolkits, and provide your technical and design expertise to the team overall.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Create, lead and oversee the creation of original marketing motion graphics content for broadcast, social media and editorial projects
• Produce highly versatile, intuitive and efficient motion graphics toolkits for use within marketing creative team as well as our partners
• Work with and incorporate 3D assets in motion graphics content
• Coordinate with design artists to maintain a cohesive brand throughout all media
• Work with design artist to create cinemagraphs using their designs and illustrations
• Export final deliverables following the formats and best practices of each social media platform
• Produce templates specifically for video editing to fit the needs of each video production, as needed
• Collaborate with video editors when producing their toolkits, iterating on their feedback to evolve templates towards efficiency and ease of use
• Maintain and promote high standards for project and asset management
• Take part in the coordination process between marketing analytics and creative team
• Implement feedback from creative leads and customer groups
• Work within a pipeline involving several different disciplines (motion graphics, video editing & design) and be able to shift seamlessly between them
• Maintain a library of motion graphics toolkits, versioning for use by a wider team
• Organize, archive and backup projects within our server structure
• Execute feedback from creative leads and customer groups
• Foster creative and technical development amongst team members
• Troubleshoot Audio/Video Equipment, including Macintosh and Windows workstations
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:
• A team player, comfortable wearing many hats within a multidisciplinary group
• Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects and the wider Adobe Creative Suite
• Expert knowledge of commonly used plugins, such as Red Giant and Video Copilot suites
• Experience working with Video Copilot's Element 3D
• Ability to manipulate and edit 3D models in Cinema4D or Maya
• Working experience as a video editor, with an understanding of the disciplines needs
• Experience building custom templates through the Adobe Essential Graphics workflow
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
• Eye catching art and design sensibilities
• Ability to take still designs and produce motion graphics content off them
• Exceptional media management skills, focusing on intuitive organization
• Ability to work and react to feedback from creative and analytics
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritizing projects with a high level of autonomy
• Good listener, able to give and take constructive criticism
• Understanding of the best practices for each platform and what makes them unique
• Know-how of what makes each social media platform and its audiences special
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
• High attention to details across video, graphics and design

Extra Points:
• Working knowlage making light scripts in Adobe After Effects
• Experience working with realistic visual effects
• 5+ years of experience; video game industry experience
• Familiarity with the Call of Duty franchise
