This role is offered on a hybrid-working basis, meaning there will be a split of being based at our office and also remote work from home.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Associate Director, HR for Activision Publishing Studios EMEA, we are looking for a dynamic HR Advisor to join our EMEA HR Team. This is an integral part of an exciting growth area of our business, partnering with a number of game development teams within Europe.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about building a great employee experience, who is super organized with great people skills. Strong data management & process implementation skills are a must. You will love supporting your client groups, providing pragmatic solutions to everyday challenges, and driving process improvements which both make valuable contributions to our employees and simplify our ways of working.

Ideally you will have experience in both an established and start-up environment and will play a key role supporting partners with core HR, advising on policy, practices, and processes to ensure we provide the best employee experience possible.

Key tasks include:
• Independently advise on HR policies, practices, and local regulatory requirements. Resolve manager and employee policy queries linked to core HR processes, absence, probation, performance management, reward, mobility and much more.
• First line support for managers. Coach on topics ranging from performance management, disciplinary and grievance, to supporting colleagues with absence.
• Policy – creating and updating local policies. Educating managers appropriately to drive engagement. Works with peers & legal to update intranet as needed.
• In partnership with the People Experience team, own the maintenance of data & employee changes in Workday, looking to continuously improve delivery of HR.
• Own the management information for your client groups(s) ensuring it is reliable, relevant, and up to date, enabling leadership to make the right decisions. This will include analysing resource data such as turnover, retention, new hires, compensation, resourcing, talent and succession planning, productivity and capability. Ensuring that we are providing meaningful data insight and recommendations that support both our business and people objectives.
• Partner with managers to ensure the onboarding of our new colleagues lives up to the expectations of our organisation, sets them up for success and the passing of their probation.
• Championing relevant values and culture in all that you do - supporting local and company-wide programs including: Performance Management, talent frameworks, DE&I strategies, ethical laws, standards and policies.
• You will support regional and local Employee Engagement initiatives, ensuring teams participate in the relevant regional actions' whilst also driving local actions which ensure our businesses follow up on our commitments and continuously drive improvements whilst enhancing culture.
• Actively support other HR initiatives, projects, events, community days and other AB initiatives. Including the development of project plans (i.e. actions, risks and issues, timelines) and supporting of local and functional projects to help improve our employee experience.

Player Profile
• HR experience gained in a HR Advisory role, with hands-on experience of managing end to end HR people processes. You will be professional, credible, and responsive.
• Strong advisory skills and knowledge and experience of applying employment law, preferably with experience from multiple countries within Europe.
• Experience of interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures and local legislation with the ability to identify potential ER issues and partner with managers within the business on managing such issues. Maintains knowledge of changing employment legislation in relevant regions.
• Sound judgement and decision making, with the ability to identify and resolve problems, provide solutions, and take necessary actions to prevent them from developing in future.
• Experience managing multiple activities and collaborating with others to get the job done.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and excellent time management skills.
• Strong experience of data analysis, management, pulling of insights and recommendations from this. Actively listens to the business on improvements that could be made to the metrics.
• Seeks new ways to improve HR processes and outcomes. Look at ways to minimise cost or contribute to process improvements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders, employees, and HR peers to ensure effective team collaboration and an enhanced customer/employee experience.
• Appreciation and understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in dealing with any people related activities. Works with employees affected by changes to explain rationale and reinforce the need to change.
• Excellent IT skills – particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Business fluent written and verbal English
