Job Description

Responsibilities
• Installation and maintenance of broadcasting and production facilities.
• Work independently and as part of a team;
• Troubleshooting and providing solutions as situations develop in a 24x7 broadcasting environment.
• Shift work involves early mornings, days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of broadcast maintenance experience providing technical support for broadcast television, live program origination, and post-production environments.
• A strong technical background in HD and SD digital video and audio systems, with a minimum of 3 years of technical maintenance experience.
• Be able to install, configure and maintain broadcast and production equipment.
• Have a broad knowledge of broadcast signals and test procedures and be able to use test equipment to identify and diagnose problems.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve in-depth problems in an efficient manner.
• Be able to perform at a high level while working in an extremely fast-paced and often unpredictable production environment.
• Possess a high standard for quality work.
• Experience with digital video servers, routing switchers, and production control room equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with high-power microwave transmitters/receivers and antenna systems.
• Experience in the maintenance of a satellite downlink facility.
• Strong PC and networking skills.

Required Education
• College Degree plus a minimum of three years directly related work experience. Requisite experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
