Job Description

ABC7 Los Angeles is seeking an innovative, enterprising and motivated general assignment reporter to be based in our Orange County Bureau.

Responsibilities:
• Must be able to cover the biggest breaking stories of the day, and focus on stories that impact communities in Orange County.
• If you work well under deadline pressure, and are comfortable handling live breaking news in the field, please include the link to your recent reel when submitting your application online.

Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to shoot, edit and publish is essential. Successful candidate is expected to shoot their own material at least half of the time.
• Qualified candidates must be creative, hard-working, excellent storytellers, station representatives and team players.
• Must understand how to create unique and shareable stories for television, digital, social and streaming.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in multiple markets preferred
• Bilingual preferred

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree
