Production Associate, 20/20 (Talent Assistant)

ABC News' 20/20 has an opening for a Production Assistant. The primary focus of this position is to provide administrative support to an on-air correspondent. The ideal candidate will have admin duty experience as well as a keen interest in pursuing a career in longform production. Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours and travel to locations with talent during breaking news.

Responsibilities:
• Manage correspondent's calendar, travel arrangements, expense reports, and social media pages
• Answer phone calls and emails to facilitate correspondent's internal and external meetings and appearance requests
• Willing to travel and assist correspondent during live shots, breaking news and 20/20 specials
• Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings and nights
• Create research packets for correspondent's upcoming stories or segments
• Communicate with executives and producers across the business
• Support 20/20 producers during production (includes shoot preparation, media gathering, post-production and general production support.)
• Actively pitch story ideas and engage in story development related to production
• Foster an inclusive and positive work environment.

Basic Qualifications:
• The ability to work well with others and perform duties under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in all Windows/Outlook/One Drive functions
• Must be conscientious, self-motivated, and proactive
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with on-air talent
• Prior experience in long-format production is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of online editing is preferred.

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
