Coordinator, Production Management - ABC News Longform (Project Hire)

ABC News Longform is substantially growing its production output to produce narrative non-fiction content and news specials for the ABC network, Hulu and other Disney platforms. We are seeking a Coordinator to work on a longterm project basis within the ABC News Longform Production Management team with an emphasis on supporting the Hulu portfolio. This Coordinator reports to the Executive Director Production Management and will work to support the team administratively as well as help to facilitate the day-to-day needs of the studio business including creating and organizing crew lists, collating show documentation, assisting in onboarding new staff and doing research as needed by production management.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings across the team
• Perform other administrative duties to include expense reports, travel arranging and helping to route requests to the best contacts
• Assist in tracking schedules, budgets, and other key production documentation across the portfolio of projects
• Work with the Manager, Production Management to coordinate onboarding and other startup material delivery for each project
• Help track and distribute documentation to facilitate information flow across departments including creating distribution lists and meeting agendas to engage the appropriate stakeholders for each project.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of crew lists for each production
• Collaborate on special project research as needed to assist in improving the work flows and best practices of the department

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of Coordinator or Production Assistant experience, ideally in a production setting
• Ability to oversee multiple tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude with the ability to be flexible
• Passion for learning about production methods and the latest production technology
• Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing a different tasks
• Excellent organizational and inter-personal skills and the ability to be a self-starter
• Calm under pressure and a willingness to be flexible to determine how best to work and prioritize requests from different production teams

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a production company or studio/network production management capacity
• A passion for non-fiction content, with both a news and documentary focus

Required Education
• BA or BS from a four year accredited college or university or equivalent experience
