Job Description
ABC News' Investigative Unit is hiring an Associate Producer.

The ABC News Investigative Unit is responsible for reporting on all ABC News platforms, including ''World News Tonight with David Muir,'' ''Nightline,'' ''Good Morning America,'' ''20/20,'' ''This Week with George Stephanopoulos,'' ABC News Radio, ABCNews.com, and satellite service NewsOne. An award-winning team provides in-depth investigative reporting on everything from breaking news to government waste, corruption and consumer issues.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting Producers with short and long-term investigative projects, including booking and shooting interviews, researching elements and working closely with correspondents and legal and standards teams.
• Pitching investigative projects for all ABC News platforms.
• Experience in filing FOIA requests and performing background checks on companies and individuals a must.
• Strong editorial judgment and good organizational skills are critical, along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
• This position requires a flexible work schedule including early morning and evening schedule and occasional weekends.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Strong production and social media skills
• Familiar with Word, Inews, Outlook, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in investigative reporting a plus
• Shooting and editing skills a plus

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
