Associate Producer - GMA - Part Time (ABC News)

Good Morning America is hiring an Associate Producer.

Responsibilities:

The GMA Associate Producer will work primarily with an anchor. This position is responsible for assisting the Producers with the daily show, including pitching stories, booking segments, researching elements, scripting tape segments, and producing live segments in the studio.

Responsibilities also include arranging and producing live remote segments. Strong editorial judgment and good organizational skills are critical, along with multitasking and prioritizing under pressure. Candidates should have strong research skills. This candidate should be a team player and ready to work across breaking news to feature content.

NOTE: This role is a part-time position under 30 hours a week (max 29).

This role will work a daytime shift primarily, but late nights and unpredictable hours (including weekends) may also be required, based upon show needs.

Basic Qualifications:
• Candidates must have at least two years of experience in television production.
• Control room experience
• Solid editorial judgment along with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong research and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
