Coordinator, Publicity Assets (Disney Branded Television)

The Coordinator, Publicity Assets, supports the processes that go into the creation of visual assets for Publicity campaigns. The duties span across Disney-branded properties (destined for Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD) and are mainly office-based (currently working remotely). They include organizing, scheduling, planning, clip-sourcing and distribution of assets to members of the press. The Coordinator also works on press junkets, red carpets and blogger events (all currently produced remotely).
Responsibilities:
• Brainstorm concepts for Electronic Press Kits/social content; help obtain interview footage as needed
• Develop creative announcement concepts that will travel and generate buzz around series and events
• Coordinate and post daily (including weekends) social media posts for PR handles
• Coordinate copy and assets to create notifications to press about new screeners, clips and features
• Manage clip and screen grab requests from team of Publicists
• Interacts with media relations management, talent and staff
• Interacts with Social Media Platform providers, and other PR counterparts
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of one (1) year related work experience
• Experience working in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Instagram and Twitter
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
• Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Available to work a flexible schedule when necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years' of experience related work experience
• Experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop
• Experience working in television and/or entertainment publicity
• Knowledge of digital media formats
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
