Senior Development Executive, TV

Job Description

A24 is seeking a Senior TV Development Executive to grow an evolving slate of live action series, across all genres. This executive will work alongside an existing team of executives but will focus on building their own development that targets the goals of A24.

Initial Responsibilities
• Assist in the management of the television development and series slate.
• Very strong skillset at script development. Being able to curate and build projects from the ground up.
• Has significant experience at developing pitches, packaging projects, and selling to the market.
• Capable of independently leading projects in all phases of creative development and working alongside production, post-production, marketing, and other internal departments and our external partners.
• Identifying new projects in all capacities - buying pitches, sourcing IP, tracking specs, bringing in talent to partner with and develop around internal goals that elevate the overall A24 TV Slate.

Qualifications
• 10+ years experience working in premium, scripted television.
• Producer/Entrepreneurial minded - the ability/knowledge of overseeing a series in production.
• Strong communication skills both with internal and external partners, while being able to operate independently.
• Knowledge of current needs of the marketplace and strong relationships with agents, managers, and other forms of talent representation.
• Effective and collaborative with creators, writers, directors - with significant relationships.
