THE DIVISION'S STORY

Production Operations and Engineering consists of a wide range of media centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A+E's programming. This is where we produce, transform, broadcast and distribute content as well as run the tech infrastructure for the Media Supply chain. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Fulfillment, this position is a key player in the Global Content Distribution Services team based in Stamford, CT.

The Shortform Specialist will be responsible for the successful acquisition, processing, and delivery of Shortform content for A+E Networks' deliveries to YouTube, FAST, TV Everywhere and additional third-party platforms domestically and globally. In addition, the Shortform Specialist will be responsible for the tracking and cross-divisional communications of all Shortform fulfillment. They will be responsible for ensuring all Shortform assets (metadata, artwork, video, and captioning) are delivered in compliance with partner package requirements and delivery SLAs.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Responsible for performing the complete fulfillment of Shortform based content. Including work order tracking via thePlatform/Loom, metadata curation and approvals, source processing, packing and delivery of package elements (metadata, artwork, video, and captioning), for distribution to partners including YouTube, FAST, Owned & Operated, among others.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Scheduling, Content Operations, Acquisitions, Production Operations, Metadata Operations, Content Fulfillment, and Content Publishing to acquire necessary elements for packaging and delivery.
• Responsible for the technical Q/C of package elements in preparation for digital distribution.
• Support the Senior Manager, Content Fulfillment, relating to the prioritization of day-to-day and project based Shortform deliveries.
• Must interact effectively with distribution partners and management across all levels of the organization.

YOUR STORY:
• Familiarity of video formats & codecs. As well as experience with Adobe products, video encoding technologies, XML metadata and digital delivery protocols & technologies (FTP, SFTP, Aspera, Signiant), a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Experience in project management, a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task and time management skills in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
• Proactive work ethic while maintaining a keen focus on accuracy in a detailed oriented workflow a must; a positive attitude with a desire to excel in a team-oriented culture; and a Passion for new technology and a desire to work in the entertainment/media industry.

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
