Music Services Coordinator (Temporary)

Currently, all staff and non-staff are working remotely except for select roles that have an in office requirement. We value the health and safety of the people that work for us above all else, and our office re-openings will remain contingent on the course of the COVID variants and federal, state and local safety guidelines and recommendations.

The Music Services Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Director of Music Services and other team members within the A+E Legal & Business Affairs team supporting the Creative , Business and Financial endeavors of the Department.
• Support the A&E music initiative as it relates to monetizing programs that have owned music.
• Contract Administration (send docs through Docusign for appropriate initialing and signature, upload fully executed contracts to e-docs)
• Help Schedule Meetings and Calls for Dept. Staff
• Copyright research and internal research to track down agreements & schedules of works for AETN owned music
• Under supervision, responsible for ensuring all deliverables from composer(s) / artist(s) are submitted. In addition to ensuring all components required are turned in within a timely manner help Composer(s) / artist(s) properly fill out and return all necessary forms (including, but not limited to, ACH, W-9, society registrations), as well as organize all music turned in so it may be readily utilized by the Group. This role will also be tasked with handling all necessary invoicing as related to each project at hand, with periodic audits to make sure Finance's books and records reflect our own
• Accounts Payable - assist with processing invoices and payments to AETN composers and artists; review incoming invoices; submit Invoices and track invoices through to payment; follow up on late payments and make recommendations to speed the process; reconcile invoices and revenue against music PACs
• Registration - help with music registration and cataloging with Music Maestro
• Generally support all TEAM members with special projects

YOUR STORY:
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel; Microsoft Office
• Associate or Bachelors degree in related field and interest in music / media industry
• Training as required: PPL; Carta A/P; SAP; Airtable; Box; WinZip; Access to Onedrive; Soundmouse; Music Maestro; Docusign, e-docs

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
