Job Description
WKRN-TV News 2 is looking for interns for our engineering department. This is an unpaid, supervised internship.
Internship Details:
• All interns must be enrolled in college receiving course credit
• Interns will be supervised and participate in a meaningful learning experience
• Upon completion of internship, the student will receive a written review by supervisor
• Interns are responsible for their own transportation
Intern duties include but not limited to:
• Assist engineers with broadcast equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assist IT staff with server and workstation maintenance and deployment
• Assist staff with equipment installs
• Assist with transmitter maintenance
• Go on location for remote productions
• Become familiar with equipment and workflows throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned
