The Job

WB Games Central Technology seeks an Engineering Intern to join our Core Engineering team. In this position, you will implement and maintain the tools and platform that support our central engine.

The Daily
• Develop, maintain, and improve tools and support applications to help build our future games and game engine platform.
• Assist with game platform development including implementation of shared features, bug fixing, and optimization
• Work with industry-standard SDKs
• Self-manage when given prioritized goals and objectives
• Work closely with other team members and take technical and professional feedback

The Essentials
• Coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reasonable equivalent thereof
• Comfortable programming in C+
• Experience with Perforce, Git, or other revision control systems
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members
• Curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to learn and take feedback
• Experience developing with Unreal Engine

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th – August 12th (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program
