The Team
The Marketing Analytics team at WB Games is responsible for leveraging data and using analytical techniques to deliver comprehensive and insightful analyses that support WB Games Marketing decisions.
Our team's focus is three-fold: on (1) Campaign Analytics (e.g., KPI reporting, measurement of media performance, benchmarking), (2) Social & Community Analytics (e.g., Sentiment Analysis) and (3) Influencer & Streaming Analytics.

The Job
The role will be in support of the 3 focuses delineated above – Campaign, Social & Community, and Influencer & Streaming Analyses. A successful person in this role will be responsible for working on and owning a couple analytical projects within the larger groupings above, helping to institutionalize and evangelize a data-driven, strategic mindset for how the greater team informs marketing investment decisions. Prospective analytical questions to be considered would be (not limited to): ''what is the relationship between Influencer/Twitch Activities and downstream game sales?'', ''how do we monitor brand perception by using social listening?'', and ''what is the optimal marketing budget and mix for promoting different game genres?''

The Daily
• Analyze, collect and interpret results from various data sources to drive business decisions.
• Connect to APIs. Manage the ETL, data wrangling, cleaning and data visualization processes.
• Report on in-house campaign KPIs, to both benchmark paid media efforts and aid optimization efforts.
• Provide these learnings on an on-going and real-time basis to the marketing teams, sharing & developing insights and facilitating best practices across brands.
• Coordinate statistical analyses and modeling, ensuring the integration of those tools into the overall marketing programs.
• Support individual teams with ad hoc requests and analyses.

The Essentials
• Degree or working toward a degree in a quantitative-focused field (Marketing Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of Excel and a Dashboarding Platform (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI). An understanding of how to make API calls to help automate data feeds.
• A track record (academic or professional) of using data and analytics to solve business-related questions.
• Strong presence to present data, insights and persuasive recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. The ability to explain more technical subjects (e.g., a statistical analysis) in a straightforward way to non-technically inclined audiences.
• High degree of intellectual curiosity – a continual desire to understand how things work alongside a proactive approach to sharing one's own knowledge and expertise.

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (optional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) required
