The Job
Join the Wonder Woman team and help bring an iconic DC Superhero to life!

As a Gameplay Software Engineer, you will contribute to innovative game systems with substantial player-facing impact, such as our combat, character movement, camera, and Monolith's award-winning Nemesis systems!

Working as a member of the Gameplay team, you will partner with our design and art teams to build and expand game systems through our proprietary game engine. Come work with our highly collaborative team, and help us deliver a superhero experience as epic as Wonder Woman herself!

Co-Ops are 6 month programs designed to train and develop early career talent. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college degree program. This position will have a January 2023 start date. The team is based in Seattle, but there is opportunity for remote work.

The Daily
• Write C++ code in a data-driven, proprietary engine
• Collaborate closely with design and art to build core gameplay experiences
• Work with team leadership to breakdown feature work into actionable, schedulable steps
• Write concise documentation for code and complex systems

The Essentials
• Professional experience in C++
• Experience working and debugging in a well-known IDE, such as Visual Studio or Rider
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Understanding of common game development concepts and systems
• Currently enrolled in a college degree program

The Nice to Haves
• Prior experience working in a 3D game engine (Unreal, Unity, etc.)
• Understanding of mathematics concepts commonly used in gaming, including linear algebra and trigonometry
• Understanding of development against console platforms (Xbox, PS, etc.)
• Understanding of agile processes, such as Scrum
