The Job
WarnerMedia Studios and Networks is seeking an undergraduate Data Science intern for our Studio Data, Science, and Analytics team. This internship is intended to provide meaningful and practical work experience to a student interested in predictive analytics & machine learning within entertainment.

The Daily
The duration of the internship is approximately 10 weeks. The Intern will be expected to perform data manipulation, machine learning, and predictive modeling in a fast paced and fun environment.

Some of the duties will include:
• Conducting analysis in R/Python
• Data manipulation with relational databases and SQL
• Working in cloud based environments such as AWS
• Learning machine learning and predictive modeling approaches such as Random Forest, GBM, xgBoost, neural networks/deep learning, etc.
• Creating data visualizations and communicating findings in reports and interactive tools (Rshiny)

The Essentials
• Grad student preferred, but will consider exceptional 3rd or 4th year undergrad
- (3.0 gpa or higher)
• College major focused on Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or a directly related field of study
• Must have proficient computer skills; Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook preferred
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and other levels of personnel
• Must have the ability to pay close attention to details
• Must have the ability to organize
• Must have the ability to work well under time constraints
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th; must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
