The Job:We are seeking a spring music intern who is passionate about music and entertainment to contribute to our music team. This is a great opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in music. The intern will gain insight and knowledge of the industry through practical work experience.
The Daily
Research and create spreadsheets of music descriptions/tagging for library cues.
Research new artists and upcoming releases.
Prepare and update detailed forthcoming release schedules for the music department.
Creative music searches (commercial and library music) for current and upcoming shows.
Assist the Music Department in meeting the network's creative and administrative music needs.
The Essentials
• Currently enrolled in coursework at an accredited college/university in pursuit of a degree in a music-related field.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as required.
• Possess strong written and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Passion for music/entertainment industry.
