Job Description

Warner Media is the world's largest supplier of entertainment product and our UK offices co-ordinate the production, sales, marketing and distribution of WB physical formats, digital formats, Games, Consumer Products and Theatrical product throughout the UK and Ireland.

The W arnerMedia UK Commercial Planning team provides insights across the UK business including T heatrical, Home Video , Games, Supply Chain , through the collation
of Retail Planning (retailer focused overall and title analysis / title, promotional mechanic and pricing recommendations and forecasting all Warner Media retailer activity) and Insight (Warner Media and Market level trending / forecasting / analysis).

The Job:
• Support the Warner Media UK Commercial Planning team with day-to-day tasks  including:   m aintain ing and distribut ing weekly reports , sales analysis, providing insights on various projects and other ad-hoc tasks  

The Daily:

Retail Planning

Produce / maintain reports using available systems on a daily / weekly / monthly / ad-hoc basis.
• VOD and EST results b y digital partner.
• Sales Analysis.
• Provide detailed analysis and insight to the line manager / Sales and Marketing on a variety of projects.
• Be a proactive member of the internal team structure combining Commercial Planning , Sales, Marketing and Finance, to help build relationships and provide insights.

Business & Market Insight
• Understand the digital market environment and the key drivers / dynamics within it (format mix / partner landscape) and provide recommendations to aid decision making.
• Maintain and distribute weekly reports providing relevant insight and analysis for the company.
• Understand WHE product and promotional performance, and how it relates to future performance & profitability.
• Understand & keeps abreast of current & future trends in the digital market / partners / customers.

IT Systems
• Develop a working knowledge of the key business support tools used across the business. For example, OCC, Mediamorph , Tableau.

The Essentials:
• Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn new software quickly.
• A nalytical (esp. for identifying trends, etc) and pay exceptional attention to detail.
• W ell organised & disciplined, with the ability to prioritise workloads & use time effectively.
• S elf-motivated & work with limited supervision.
• A ble to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner.
• You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2023.

The Nice-to-Haves:
• Business undergraduat e.
• Some previous work experience and an interest in retail / home entertainment .
• An understanding of digital technology and trends.
