Application Security

The Application Security Intern works under the supervision of the Application Security team to help assure sufficient security of UMG systems. Various Application Security assessment techniques will be explored to identify vulnerabilities requiring remediation to achieve compliance. This work will also help educate application development teams to protect UMG systems with secure coding technologies and logging and monitoring capabilities.

How you'll CREATE:
• Participate in application security assessments
• Promote secure coding methodologies
• Formal registration of security findings
• Promote remediation of security findings
• Participate in the security standards development

Bring your VIBE:
• Current baccalaureate student registered in a cybersecurity based academic program
• Network security or Internet security experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• General experience with Jira and Confluence
• Secure application development experience (preferred)
• Penetration testing experience (preferred)
• System hardening experience (preferred)
• Kali Linux experience (preferred)

Identity Access Management

The Identity & Access Management Intern works under the supervision of the SSO Federation team to help secure authentication into UMG systems using Microsoft Azure Identity Management. Various authentication techniques will be explored to support internal and external use cases and system to system connections. This work will also provide custom branded login screens to support artists and partners with unique requirements.

How you'll CREATE:
• Participate in identity management solutioning discussions
• Edit architectural diagrams
• The intern will be responsible for assisting with defining Azure AD SSO integration solutions
• Define Azure AD B2B integration solutions
• Define Azure B2C integration solutions
• Send keys/secrets/certs using secure channel technology
• Submit change requests for production deployment
• Validate production integration functionality
• Create of update project documentation

Bring your VIBE:
• Current baccalaureate student registered in a cybersecurity based academic program
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Application development experience (preferred)
• Familiarization with AD/Azure AD (preferred)
• General experience with Jira and Confluence (preferred)
• General experience with Microsoft Office Visio (preferred)
