Help redefine how businesses tell stories and reach audiences.
This internship will begin on June 5 and run through August 11. Interns will be placed at TEGNA stations around the country.
What Will You Be Doing as an Advertising Sales Intern?
• Produce briefings on prospective accounts, industry segments, and specific business issues that help the Advertising Sales Team become more informed and effective in their deals
• Gain experience on how to prospect new clients
• Conduct market research and competitive intelligence projects
• Analyze and recommend customer segmentation
• Help develop brand messaging or a creative campaign

Job Requirements:
• Current juniors or seniors at a US college/university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Studying sales, advertising, marketing, or business
• You are interested in pursuing a career in advertising sales or account management
• Self-starters who are persistent in the pursuit of achieving the right results
• You are not afraid to initiate conversations and are comfortable presenting in front of others
Travel: Rarely: less than 10%
Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
