Responsibilities

Become an NBCUniversal (NBC / Telemudno / NBC Sports) Owned Television Stations intern and learn broadcasting and digital from our world-class teams!

NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience.

The NBCUniversal paid internship program gives students real world experience, networking opportunities and exposure to one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. Students can intern in a variety of functions including news, sports, ad sales, community and creative services.

PLEASE READ INTERNSHIP INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:
• Application deadline is February 11, 2022, interested candidates should apply by this date
• Program generally runs from June through August
• Internships at NBCUniversal are paid and do not require course credit
• Recent graduates will NOT be eligible for this program
• At least one (1) letter of recommendation from a teacher and/or advisor
• Current transcript from College/University

• Investigative Unit: NBC 5 and Telemundo
• Chicago Today: NBC 5
• Research: NBC 5/Telemundo/NBC Sports
• Integrated Sales and Marketing: NBC 5/Telemundo/NBC Sports
• Digital Media: NBC 5 /Telemundo/NBC Sports
• Special Projects/Community Relations: NBC 5/Telemundo/NBC Sports
• Commercial Production: NBC 5 and Telemundo
• Information Technology: NBC 5/Telemundo/NBC Sports

Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal

Additional Job Requirements
• If selected for an in-person internship, must be willing to work in Chicago, IL
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics
