Job Description
OverviewSpurs Sports and Entertainment (SS&E) is looking for a student intern to join our family!
This position is responsible for providing support to the Business Strategy Department by assisting with any and all ad-hoc tasks as assigned to them. The Business Strategy Department is responsible for SS&E's meaningful and purposeful integration into the Austin metropolitan area, as well as the strategic growth of the organization throughout the region. SS&E is committing to this region with meaningful partnerships, fan-centered activations and initiatives, and becoming an integral and impactful community partner. The ideal candidate for this role has the ability to work in a positive and collaborative environment where multi-tasking, attention to detail and time management skills are essential. Trustworthiness and possessing the ability to keep classified information confidential is required.

• Finish Date – July 19, 2023
• Pay: $10.00/hour
• Hours/Week: up to 29hrs/week

Responsibilities
• Take notes in all management meetings using note templates and distribute them to the group in a timely manner and attention to detail.
• Assist with detailed, accurate and timely research of key business strategy people, places, and processes relating to the key objectives of the Business Strategy department.
• Efficiently support special events in Austin, TX including data collection, ambassador recruitment, marketing, and other organizational functions.
• Support department and internal organizational stakeholders to best facilitate business strategy initiatives, planning and focused efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled college student or recent graduate in the degree fields of Business, Sports Management, or other related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and problem solve.
• Demonstrate high levels of interpersonal skills to handle confidential situations and information with poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills required.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Position requires some travel and reliable transportation.
• Position is located in Austin, Texas and will be a hybrid in-person/virtual position.
