Game Design Intern (Apex Legends)

We're looking for a Game Design Intern to join the Apex Legends team. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in the summer of 2022 and are slated to graduate in Fall of 2022 or Spring of 2023.

What You'll Do…
• Create a playtestable prototype by modifying an existing mode or creating a new one reusing existing assets
• Work with other departments to agree on vision and acquire assets for a cohesive experience
• See the mode through production, including tuning, polishing, processing team feedback, and writing robust, shippable script
• Ensure a high-quality release by bug fixing, balancing, and creating a fun, engaging mode

Required Qualifications...
• Enrolled in a college, university degree program
• Available to work full-time hours for 10-12 weeks remotely because of COVID-19 restrictions
• Fluency in one or more text-based scripting or programming languages
• Experience in rapid prototyping and iterative design
• Understanding of game feel and polish
• Played and formed a lot of opinions about many live games

Requirements:

Must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2022 (May - September depending on start date). We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2022, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2022 through June 2023. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a fulltime basis during the entirety of the internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
