Software Engineering Intern

PlayStation is now hiring forward-thinking, hardworking, and talented interns for the position of Software Engineering Intern. As an intern, you'll get exposure to real projects and challenges in a vibrant environment and gain real-world experience.

Responsibilities:
• Write software code for internal application development
• Write and execute unit tests using the JUnit framework
• Participate in agile ceremonies
• Create required documentation including low-level design documents
• Increase expertise in the areas of development related to the assigned projects
• Fix bugs and provide support for business and maintenance teams
• Refactor existing code base and improve overall quality of code

Qualifications:
• Current or post-graduate (up to 1 year) student majoring in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with java-based web application development
• Experience with Java, React, JavaScript, NodeJs
• Experience with RDBMS and writing SQL queries
• Experience with XML related technologies (XML, XSL, JAXP) and JSON
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience of object modeling, analysis and design
• Experience using source control systems (e.g. Git, Perforce, etc…)
• Experience utilizing JUnit and other testing frameworks
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and information
