Paramount Pictures Overhead Planning Summer 2023 Internship (Hybrid-LA)

The Overhead Planning department is accountable for overseeing and delivering quarterly forecasting and monthly pacing packages to senior management. Overhead Planning partners closely with business units, human resources, and financial reporting. Overhead Planning also is responsible for asset capitalization and disposal, as well as providing support to domestic and international AP in regards to coding vendor costs related to Overhead.

The Overhead Planning intern will assist in monthly financial reporting schedules and provide to the planning manager. The intern will analyze actuals vs. forecast (Budget / Estimate), and research/explain fluctuations. Provide assistance with Overhead Budgets and consequent Estimates. The intern will also Assist in the Capital disposal process, and Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and process improvements.

The team's summer format will be hybrid out of our 5555 Melrose Ave office in Los Angeles, CA. They are not looking for a fully remote intern. We do not cover the cost of housing or transportation.

Qualifications:
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office
• Accounting/Finance/Economics major.
• Detailed oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Quick at understanding new concepts and have a positive attitude.

Eligibility:
• Internships are available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors or Master's students in the fall of 2023. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
