Job Description
Responsibilities
The Entertainment Group develops and schedules the network's primetime, late-night, and daytime entertainment programming, including USA, SYFY, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, and Universal Kids. NBC's quality programs and balanced line-up have earned the network critical acclaim, numerous awards and ratings success, including most recently winning the traditional September-to-May season in primetime's key demo, marking the network's third win in four years. NBC has earned more Emmy Awards than any network in television history.

Internships & Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
• Marketing & Consumer Insights: create social campaigns & strategies, review & analyze consumer data to improve marketing strategies, reporting performance trends, preparing industry update decks and deliverables, develop & design marketing collateral for pitch meetings, participate in brainstorm & strategy meetings
• Publicity & Corporate Communications: Maintaining and updating press lists, preparing for press junkets, monitoring press breaks and compiling clip packets, researching media outlets & contacts, and compiling coverage reports
• Digital: graphic and/or motion design, editing short-form video content, social media management, researching trends, creating eye-catching graphics & titles/content, asset management & delivery, and updating websites & apps
• Photography: support photo producers, review coverage and photos to choose best images, editing images and photos, and assist with post-production process

Qualifications/Requirements
• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.

Additional Job Requirements:
• If selected for an in-person internship, must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.

Desired Characteristics
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Passion for television entertainment space and pop culture
• Prior social media, digital marketing, publicity and/or communications experience
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and/or AfterEffects is a plus for some roles
• Knowledge of and experience with all major social media platforms
• Ability to multitask and highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Previous internship experience within a corporate setting
